It is said that knowledge is power, but some would say, only if you act on that knowledge. This site provides an opportunity to increase knowledge within the collision repair industry through surveys and polls. There are all kinds of issues that can be surveyed or polled, but consideration should be given to how the results can be used to make difference.
CCIF committees and others are invited to make proposals for surveys and polls. Though unscientific in nature, we hope that this feature will be of value in creating an easy, fast method of testing ideas and “getting a feel” for attitudes, current trends and opinions on given subjects.
CCIF on Friday or Saturday?
In order to ensure that CCIF is meeting the needs of its participants, a survey was carried out to establish whether Saturday was still the preferred day of the week for CCIF or if it should be moved to Friday.
Participants were asked which day they thought would attract most collision repairers, which would attract most corporate staff, such as suppliers and insurers, and which day they would prefer themselves. The results below show the reponses to these questions, broken down by the different categories of CCIF participant.
The result confirmed that a majority of participants, particularly collision repairers, still favour Saturday and, therefore, CCIF will continue to be held on that day.
